Purpose: To determine the effects of changes in dietary consumption on weight loss and maintenance during the Weight Loss Maintenance clinical trial.
Conclusions: The results of this sub-study indicate that increases in fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy, as part of an energy-controlled diet, helps both achieve and maintain weight loss.
